organizing tupperware

The organization of my Tupperware drawer is dependent on one thing--the lids!  The containers can usually stay put, but the lids always go a flyin' when I open or close the drawer.  I know this problem is not a unique one, as the Lazy Susan that houses my mom's Tupperware is always in disarray.   If you want to get the chaos of your Tupperware space under control, the key is in organizing those unruly lids.  

First, locate a bin that can easily fit inside your drawer or cabinet.  I used an opaque plastic bin that I had lying around the house.  A small shoe-box or even a larger tupperware bin will also work. 

Next, clean and line your chosen bin.  Place lids vertically inside.  Finally, arrange the Tupperware inside your drawer or cabinet, placing smaller containers inside larger ones of the same shape (kind of like playing a game of Tetris!).   Depending on the amount of containers you have, you may need additional bins to organize your lids.

Keeping any space organized, is an ongoing task.  As you remove and add different lids and containers, you will need to adjust the arrangement.
